Bubbie Rose & Pop-Pop, 50th Anniversary January 1983
I remember going to Pop-Pop's shul for a Bar Mitzvah anniversary and he had an Aliyah or possibly chanted from the Torah (I'm pretty sure that's why we were there). What temple did he attend in the 80s?
The synagogue was Oxford Circle Community Center on Algon Ave. It was my father's 2nd Bar Mitzvah. He read the Haf Torah. The synagague would let adults have that honor if there was no other Bar Mitzvah that week.......Jules
